Cape Cod Lighthouse - Nantucket

Let’s take a look at some of the different Cape Cod lighthouses. Some are open to visit, while others are not. Each lighthouse listed is believed to have accurate information. Some information may have changed, so be sure to double check any information if you’re planning a visit.

Race Point Lighthouse: This lighthouse is operational through solar power! You may enter this lighthouse, and even choose to stay overnight in the keeper’s house!

Wood End Lighthouse: This lighthouse uses a horn for fog, but is not operated by a lighthouse keeper. If you want to visit this lighthouse, it’s a long hike, but you can get there.

Long Point Lighthouse: This is another solar powered lighthouse. This lighthouse uses a horn for fog. YOu can get here by foot and boat.

High Land Lighthouse: (Cape Cod Lighthouse) – This lighthouse is currently operational and you’re able to enter it.

Nauset Lighthouse: This lighthouse is currently operational and you are able to enter it.

Three Sisters Lighthouse: While this lighthouse is operational, it is not open to the public.

Sandy Neck Lighthouse: This is a privately owned lighthouse and is not open to the public.

Monomy Lighthouse: This lighthouse is owned by U.S Fish and Wildlife Services. The lighthouse itself is not open to visits, but the lighthouse GROUNDS are open.

Lewis bay Lighthouse: This is a privately owned lighthouse, and is not open to the public.

Bass River Lighthouse: This lighthouse is still currently operational and serves as an Inn, and a restaurant

Catham Lighthouse: This lighthouse serves as an Electronic beacon

Stage Harbor Lighthouse – This is a privately owned property, and the light has been removed. This is not open to the public.

Noboska Point Lighthouse: This lighthouse is currently in operation. You can view it from a ferry boat or drive to it.

Wings Neck Lighthouse: This lighthouse is not open to the public and is private property.
